President Donald Trump, who allegedly used an AI-generated video to speak about the murder of Charlie Kirk, has dropped major news about the suspect.
Trump revealed that authorities have found Kirk’s killer, telling Fox News: “With a high degree of certainty, we have him in custody.”
Not only do they have him, but the guy was allegedly turned in by a family member.
He said, “somebody very close to him turned him in,” while further adding the suspect’s father was involved in taking him to police: “The father convinced the son,” he stated.
The President added that the suspect is “28 or 29.” The FBI previously revealed that the suspected killer of Charlie Kirk “appears to be college age.”
“I hope he’s going to be found guilty, and I hope he gets the death penalty. What he did — Charlie Kirk was the finest person, and he didn’t deserve this.”
Donald Trump did not reveal the identity of the suspect.
The FBI Wasted No Time Finding Justice For Charlie Kirk
President Donald Trump said the suspected shooter of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk has been taken into custody.
“I think with a high degree of certainty, we have him in custody,” Trump said on Fox News on Friday morning.
The remarks came less than 24 hours after it was revealed that the FBI had images and video of the suspect from the time he was walking from a neighborhood to when he jumped off a roof to leave after the shooting of Charlie Kirk.
The FBI on Thursday released grainy photos of a “person of interest” and that was more than enough for a family member to know who it was and to help tun that person in.
Authorities have yet to share a suspect’s name or announce an arrest.
