Taylor Swift fans have slammed Travis Kelce less than 24 hours after announcing their engagement, as he posted a ‘disgusting’ clip.
Travis Kelce has felt the wrath of the Swifties less than a day after the world congratulated the A-list couple on their engagement.
The 35-year-old singer shared a collection of sweet snaps on Instagram of the two looking loved-up, as the NFL star popped the all-important question.
She captioned the post: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
After the initial post, fans were waiting with bated breath for more activity from either of the two, but the clip that Kelce just posted is far from what people were expecting next.
Fans of the ‘Love Story’ singer rushed to social media to share their thoughts on the seemingly bizarre move, timed just after announcing the happy news.

“Travis, I cannot see how mother signed off on this ad,” one wrote.
As another said: “UH OHHHH ARE ALL THE SWIFTIES NOW GOING TO CANCEL TRAVIS?”
Fans were left angry after the NFL star posted a collaboration with American Eagle – the American retailer which sparked controversy recently, after collaborating with actress Sydney Sweeney to promote their ‘good jeans.’
The campaign was hit with backlash because of the pun between ‘jeans’ and ‘genes,’ paired with imagery of her blonde hair and blue eyes.
It was widely suggested that the post promoted support for white supremacy and eugenics.
And now Kelce has been caught in the crossfire.
One fan said: “Trump congratulating them, Travis doing an American Eagle ad… THIS IS HELL.”
Another wrote: “PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THAT BRAND TRAVIS.”
“This is disgusting! Less than 24 hours after the engagement announcement? smh,” another added.
A third noted: “Travis dropping an American Eagle ad campaign the day after he and Taylor announced their engagement isn’t sitting right with me.”
“Ngl this is disturbing,” one fan claimed.

“This actually really gutted me,” another said.
“People been saying they are going MAGA and I was like no way, Taylor just is trying to protect her peace and stay out of stuff. Now I really don’t know.”
Others accused American Eagle of using the new ad as ‘damage control.’
But other fans of the sports star defended him in the comments, suggesting that the ad may well have been in the works long before Sweeney’s controversy.
One said: “People being mad that Travis is collabing with American Eagle but you guys realize this was prob set up waaayyy before the Sydney Sweeney thing right?”
As another wrote: “This was apparently already in production before the Sydney Sweeney ad came out, but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth to release it a day after their engagement announcement.”
A third fan noted: “Congratulations! Love the collection.
“Cmon people let a man live and do his thing. So petty in the comments.
“This is an exciting time, let’s celebrate!!!”
But others simply couldn’t let the advert slide.
Another said: “Taylor, I love you, and I’m happy for your engagement.
“But I’m not gonna be defending this sh** at all.”
