President Donald Trump visited Yankee Stadium on Thursday as the team commemorated the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Trump’s Sept. 11 visit marked just the third time a sitting President has attended a Yankees game.

The Yankees held a pregame ceremony Thursday to “recognize the victims and heroes of 9/11.” Nearly 3,000 people died as a result of the terrorist attacks that gripped the entire world.

After the national anthem concluded in the stadium, members of the crowd started to chant “USA! USA!” with Trump seen joining in.

At one point during the game, cameras caught Donald Trump very excited as he pulled out his signature dance during the playing of “YMCA.”

That is the same dance that many athletes were doing last year in celebration.

Trump wasn’t alone on this day as he was accompanied by Attorney General Pamela Bondi and William Pulte, the U.S. Director of Federal Housing, among others.

Donald Trump To Give Charlie Kirk the Medal of Freedom

Donald Trump loved and appreciated Charlie Kirk.

Trump on Thursday voiced concern for the country in the wake of the killing of the conservative activist. He made it clear to his supporters to respond with “nonviolence.”

Kirk, a close ally of Trump and a friend to many in the administration, was shot in the neck during an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. Trump later that day announced his death.

President Donald Trump said he will posthumously award Charlie Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom as he paid tribute to the late conservative activist during remarks at the Pentagon. The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the nation’s highest civilian honor.

With his intention to award Kirk the medal, Trump said a date has yet to be determined, but that “I can only guarantee you one thing: We will have a very big crowd, very, very big.”
