Folks on social media are asking questions following curious posts from United States President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after Charlie Kirk was shot on Wednesday.
Both leaders shared posts about prayers for Kirk in the wake of the shooting at Utah Valley University on the day, and people are wondering how it is that they did so at the same time.
“We must all pray for Charlie Kirk, who has been shot. A great guy from top to bottom. GOD BLESS HIM!” Trump posted on his Truth Social platform at 3:02 p.m. ET.
Netanyahu shared a post at 3:02 p.m. reading: “Praying for @charliekirk11.”
Social Media Wants Answers Following Posts From Donald Trump & Benjamin Netanyahu
The timing of the posts has sparked curiosity among social media users.
“How did a foreign leader manage to post this at the exact same time as trump?” someone asked.
“How in the world was it possible that both Trump and Bibi Netanyahu in completely different time zones posted to pray for Charlie Kirk at the exact same time?” another inquired.
“Trump and Netanyau both tweeted at the same time! This was just clear “message”,” another post read.
Social media clearly wants answers.
Meanwhile, someone has turned himself in following Kirk’s killing, with Trump breaking the news on Friday morning. The POTUS was close to Kirk, who was one of his most vocal allies.
It’s now believed that the suspect, Tyler Robinson, was a MAGA supporter. The Trump costume he was pictured wearing in an old photo seems to have convinced many people.
Robinson reportedly confessed to his father, who reached out to a youth pastor. The clergyman then contacted a U.S. Marshal, and the 22-year-old was eventually persuaded to turn himself in.
